A clash broke out between two groups at Chandannagar in West Bengal’s Hooghly district on Wednesday. Police deployment has been heightened in the area to bring the situation under control.

Preliminary inputs indicate that bricks and stones were hurled following a clash between a group of locals from Lichupatty and another from Urdu Bazar in Chandannagar.
