Parineeti Chopra recalls going from Anushka Sharma’s PR to her co-star

While answering a few questions on social media, Parineeti Chopra recalled her journey of making it big in Bollywood, and how it all began with Anushka Sharma. Parineeti revealed that she started off by handling Anushka’s interviews and then became her co-star in Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl within months. Parineeti also shared a throwback picture with the actress.


Parineeti Chopra was interacting with her fans and followers on social media, when a netizen asked her to “say something about her lady crush Anushka Sharma (sic).” The Kesari actress revealed her “cool” journey with Anushka.

“I went from handling her interviews for Band, Baaja, Baarat to becoming her co-star in Ladies vs Ricky Bahl within 3 months. So cool na? Have always looked up to her since that time. @anushkasharma (sic),” she wrote along with a throwback picture.


Parineeti Chopra’s lady crush Anushka Sharma also shared the same post on her official Instagram handle. Showering love upon her former co-star, Anushka wrote, “Big Hugs (sic).”


Parineeti Chopra is stuck in Turkey since March, but she is making the most of that time. Taking to her Instagram, the actress shared a stunning picture of herself posing in a bikini at the beach.

“I was doing Pranayama before this photo. Ok, that’s a lie (sic),” Parineeti captioned the post. Meanwhile, her cousin, Priyanka Chopra, took to the comment section and wrote that she is jealous of her. “I am sooo jealous (sic),” wrote Priyanka along with a heart face emoji.


Parineeti Chopra kept busy with back-to-back releases this year. While The Girl On The Train was released in February 2021, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, and Saina released in March 2021. She received praises for her performance in the film.

On the other hand, Anushka has been away from acting for a while now. The actress was last seen in 2018’s Zero. She produced several projects such as Paatal Lok and is looking forward to producing the Netflix film Qala, starring the late actor Irrfan’s son, Babil Khan.
