Sonu Sood’s fan walks barefoot from Hyderabad to Mumbai to meet him. Actor says inspiring

Sonu Sood on Thursday shared a photo of himself with one of his fans, Venkatesh, who walked all the way from Mumbai to Hyderabad barefoot to meet him. The actor wrote that despite making efforts to arrange transportation for Venkatesh, he wanted to walk the distance. Sood added that Venkatesh is inspiring and made him humble.

Venkatesh, a fan of Sonu Sood, walked barefoot from Hyderabad to Mumbai to meet the actor. Sharing a photo of himself with his fan, the actor wrote, “Venkatesh, this boy walked barefoot all the way from Hyderabad to Mumbai to meet me, despite me making efforts to arrange some sort of transportation for him to come here. He is truly inspiring and has immensely humbled me (sic).”

Sonu Sood added that he doesn’t want people to take troubles to meet him. He wrote, “Ps. I, however, don’t want to encourage anyone to take the trouble of doing this, love you all (sic).”

Earlier, a video of Sonu Sood interacting with a woman went viral where the woman is seen tying a rakhi to Sonu’s wrist and then proceeds to touch his feet. Sonu, however, asked the lady to not touch his feet. The woman then said, “Aap mere bhai ki tarah ho (You are like a brother to me).”

Trade analyst Ramesh Bala shared the video on Twitter and wrote, “Here are some new visuals from Actor / Philanthropist @SonuSood’s house today! A woman also tied Rakhi to him today and it was truly the moment of the day. #SonuSood (sic).”

Sonu Sood has been helping people in need in the time of Covid-19. Last year, when the lockdown was announced to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus, the actor helped migrant worked reach their hometowns by arranging buses, trains and chartered flights. He also provided financial help to many affected by the virus. This year, during the second wave of Covid-19, he’s been arranging medical assistance to patients affected by Covid-19 across the country.
