Amrita Raos Me Time Was All About A Delicious Italian Platter


Contrary to popular beliefs, the health benefits of Italian dishes are many. Unlike other packaged food items, proper Italian items are prepared using freshly obtained vegetables that are high in nutrients. And, hence, an Italian spread makes for a healthy and tasty dish. We don’t know about you, but Amrita Rao seems to know the benefits just too well. The actress had a lovely spread and she also danced her way through it. A few days ago, Amrita jumped on the Instagram Reels bandwagon. And, oh boy. The actress did it in style while sitting across a delectable Italian spread. Amrita, who had homecooked food for 19 months, decided to enjoy her cheat day in her own way. However, she mentioned, “It was cooked healthy and made with all safety guidelines and dietary instructions in place for me.”

Italian spreads have our hearts. With their high quantity of carbohydrates and other nutrients, Italian recipes are a treat to our taste buds. We have curated a list of our favorite Italian dishes which are easy to make, great to relish and the lingering aftertaste adds to the benefit of the body. Have a look:

1. Panzanella 

This Italian salad can be made with the vegetables of your choice. However, two ingredients that are primal are tomatoes and bread. All you need is to stir chopped vegetables with lemon juice in a bowl and freeze it before serving it with torn bread pieces. It makes for a quick and healthy snack. 

2. Bruschetta 

This classic Italian starter has bread slices topped with tomato-basil and mushroom-garlic. Prepare this lip-smacking dish and impress your near and dear ones.

3. Focaccia Bread 

It is healthy, tasty, and oh-so-easy to make. Top a fresh dough with caramelized onions, olives, tomato slices, basil leaves, and cheese and bake in the oven. Relish.

4. Mushroom Risotto 

This food item provides the goodness of mushrooms and is a great source of protein and antioxidants. Additionally, it is a treat to the tummy. 

5.Pasta Con Pomodoro e Basilico 

This quintessential Italian pasta is cooked with basic tomato and basil sauce and hence, serves as a great feast for the taste buds.
