Sidharth Shukla, who died this morning at the age of 40, made his last couple of screen appearances with friend and fellow Bigg Boss 13 alumnus Shehnaaz Gill. #SidNaaz as the two were known to fans (no romantic relationship was ever acknowledged officially), feature in a docu-film titled Silsila SidNaaz Ka which uses outtakes and footage from Bigg Boss 13. Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill recently made promotional appearances in episodes of the reality shows Dance Deewane 3 and Bigg Boss OTT, the last of which is hosted by Karan Johar. Shehnaaz reportedly left a shoot midway after receiving news of Sidharth’s death on Thursday.
In mid-August, Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill, lovely in pink and orange, were pictured outside the sets of Bigg Boss OTT – they featured in a weekend episode titles Sunday Ka Vaar:
Sidharth and Shehnaaz also appeared on an episode of Dance Deewane 3 titled Love Special where they danced with the contestants.
Sidharth Shukla, who won Bigg Boss 13, died of a heart attack on Thursday morning. He had been taken to Mumbai’s Cooper Hospital. Tributes from his Bigg Boss co-stars and other TV and film personalities flooded Twitter.
Sidharth Shukla made his acting debut in 2008 in the show Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na. He was catapulted to stardom in Balika Vadhu, in which he played the lead opposite late actress Pratyusha Banerjee. His other TV credits include Love U Zindagi, Dil Se Dil Tak and Aahat.
In Addition to Bigg Boss 13, Sidharth Shukla also won Khatron Ke Khiladi 7 and participated on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6. He hosted the shows India’s Got Talent and Savdhaan India. Sidharth also played a supporting role in the film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, starring Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan.
